"To continue to go to school and receive my degrees. It will be hurtful not to be able
to stay in school because I can't pay for it. I am the first generation to attend college
and I want to be able to graduate. I want my kids to see that I got my degree. So it can
be an example for my kids to want to go to college and get their degree."

"Receiving this scholarship would be a huge blessing for me. Not only would it be helping me continue

my education but it would also grant me more self confidence;knowing that I took the responsibility

of creating a foundation for getting me closer to my career goals.

The scholarship award will only push me further towards my Speech-language Pathology degree and my dreams of one day having a successful career as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Post graduation

I intend to open up an inner city learning center to facilitate youth being at the forefront of humanity and refinement."

"Receiving this scholarship would mean the world to me and my family. I was raised by a single mom so I want to make her proud. I am an activist and advocate for many causes ranging from equality to mental health awareness. As an activist I advocate for the progression of people, having a full education goes along with that because it enables you to receive more credibility as you go and speak to people. I feel I deserve this scholarship because I have spent the last ten years helping others do better and inspiring people not to let challenges get in the way of what they want. I've done everything from fundraising to participating in children's theater to show kids that its ok to be different. I will pursue my degree and eventually hope to land a job overseeing community outreach groups as well as

fundraising efforts. I hope to one day have my own not for profit that helps disabled teens and adults get help with addiction and homelessness. l want to see them transition into a stable environment."
